Tanzania’s great wildebeest migration the best time to see it is at the end of May there are wildebeest herds spread from the Western corridor through the heart of the park.

One group tends to head west into the Western Corridor and crosses the Grumeti River before leaving the park and entering the exclusive Singita Grumeti Reserves.

This herd will then head up through the Ikorongo game reserve on the Serengeti’s Western corridor before the front runners arrive in the Kogatende area in July.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL– ARUSHA TANZANIA

You arrive at Kilimanjaro international airport ready to start 5 Days Serengeti Wildebeest. Our Safarika driver Guide will meet and transfer to the Lodge/Hotel in Arusha.

You will rest for a while; later meet again our representative for next day safari pre-briefing. Later you will have your dinner and overnight stay at Lodge/Hotel.

DAY 2: ARUSHA – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

This is the beginning of our 5 Days Serengeti Wildebeest migration. So the safari will start from your hotel on the way to Serengeti. It will take us almost 7 hours’ drive to reach the main gate. You will have an optional tour to Olduvai Gorge.

This area plays a significant role in the early history of human beings. This discovery was done by Doctor Leakey and His Mary Leakey in 1959. Proceed with safari on the way to Serengeti Naabi gate.

Lunch will follow later proceed with safari inside the park. After a short game drive, drive back to the Tented Camps for resting and overnight stay.

DAY 3: FULL GAME DRIVE – SERENGETI

Today you will explore this huge ecosystem rich in biodiversity. It will include morning and evening game drives. Also one stops for lunch in one of the picnic sites.

Depending on the season of the year you will be able to see the migration of wildebeest escorted by other herbivores. You will the chance also to visit different areas like rivers and also kopjes.

These areas are famous for their wildlife abundance. In the evening you will be taken to the lodge for a hot shower before overnight at Tented Camps for resting and overnight stay.

DAY 4: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER

You will have a morning game drive in Serengeti national as part of 5 Days Serengeti Wildebeest. Then the safari to Ngorongoro Conservation Area will start. It will have the option to visit Masai Boma for a cultural tour.

Make exploration of traditional ways of life including dancing, norms ad values. Later proceed with our safari to the lodge. You will have long resting before overnight at the Hotel in Ngorongoro.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER – DEPARTURE

The Final of 5 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari in Tanzania.

In the morning you will descend into the crater rim for animal viewing. The floor of this huge broken crater is famous for varieties of animals. It includes the Big five animals.

In the afternoon drive out and start safari back to Arusha. In finalizing your Tanzania Safari Package you will be taken to the airport ready to Flight back home or to another safari destination.
